    The Abroms-Engel Institute for the Visual Arts designed by Randall Stout Architects is now open to students and the public. The new building located at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, contains academic classrooms, laboratories, offices, and galleries for exhibitions.

    Randall Stout will be lecturing as part of the ARFAA 2013/2014 Lecture Series at Drexel University, Department of Architecture and  Interiors on the topic of Synthesis of Form, Technology and Sustainability: Convergent Systems and the Decline of  Autonomous Design on Thursday, October 10th.

    For several years cultureNOW has been collecting oral histories by artists, architects, historians, planners, and curators. There is now a large growing collection of podcasts. Randall Stout was recently invited to participate in The Podcast Project: LA which features: Blair Graphics and Cognito Films, along with website showcases of The Hunter Museum of American Art, Taubman Museum of Art and Dockweiler Youth Center.

  •             MOCA NEW SCULPTURALISM EXHIBITION OPENING

    Randall Stout Architects is part of the A New Sculpturalism: Contemporary Architecture from Southern California  which will be open from Sunday June 16, 2013  - September 16, 2013 at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA.

     

    The exhibition examines the work of more than thirty major and emerging figures in contemporary Los Angeles architecture of the last twenty-five years. Celebrating the ideas, projects, and processes of an architectural community that continually seizes the opportunity to redefine architecture, locally and globally, from within a city renowned for incubating architectural experimentation.
